Social Media Goes Mainstream in Nashua, NH

by Diane Vautier on June 24, 2010

As social media becomes more popular, local NH businesses are becoming hungrier for new information and insights on how to use the media to their advantage.  And that’s just what they got on May 21st at the Social Media Breakfast NH, hosted for the first time in Nashua, NH, by ActiveEdge.

Roughly 100 guests signed up to learn more about how businesses are using the new communication medium.  Guest speakers Anthony Liang of San Francisco Kitchen, Steve Lambert of Radisson Nashua, and Leslie Posten of Uptown Uncorked shared tips, tools, and techniques on how they’ve found business success.

I was fortunate to be able to volunteer to help coordinate the Nashua event with Leslie Posten, who has been the driving force behind expanding Social Media Breakfast meetings throughout New Hampshire.  That’s Leslie and me in the video, welcoming everyone.

Event sponsors included ActiveEdge, Kevin Micalizzi of DimDim, and Millyard Technology Park where the event was held.  If you’re interested in attending a Social Media Breakfast in New Hampshire, check out the SMBNH.org website where you can find events close to you.

Thanks for being instrumental in helping me bring the SMBNH I founded for the state down to Nashua last month. It’s always good to have someone on the ground when looking for venues, etc in another city.
